Learning: spinning on a spinning wheel
Prerequisites: none
Duration: 3 x 3 hours
Presentation of a representative panel of natural fibers that can be spun and their properties. Sorting and washing of wool.
Carding with hand cards and roller carders, mixing of fibers.
Understanding the spinning gesture, finger spinning, first steps with a spindle.
Discovery of spinning wheels, operation, practice of spinning.
Spinning exercises. The different twists and finishes.
Reserved for people who have never spun.
The spinning workshop is limited to two people.
